BOBI ANN ALLEN
Bobi Ann Allen is a women's pastor, pastor’s wife and mom. She was raised in a small east Texas town and now calls north Alabama home. A graduate of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master’s degree in Christian Education, Bobi Ann’s greatest passion in ministry is to open the Word with women and let the Holy Spirit transform hearts—including her own. She spends her days folding underwear, unloading the dishwasher, and hunting for her people’s lost stuff. Bobi Ann loves to laugh, spend time with her husband, Jared, and her delightfully silly kids, Kati Ann and Kie. Bobi Ann would love to connect through her website at bobiann.com or Facebook or Instagram
SIMONE MONROE
Simone Monroe has more than 30 years of ministry and leadership experience and holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership. She has served as a women’s pastor for the local church and a leadership consultant for-profit and non-profits, including LifeWay Resources. Simone describes variety as a considerable part of her story.
Raised in Alabama, she now calls Texas home. Simone is the mom of two grown men, MiMi to 9 grandchildren, and was a pastor’s wife for twenty years. Simone is a self-proclaimed Alabama fan who loves Mexican food and is always ready for a road trip!
Simone and Bobi Ann officially met in 2003 in a seminary class Bobi Ann was in and Simone was the guest lecturer. Bobi Ann was enamored with Simone's knowledge but it wasn't until 2011 that there paths crossed again. Bobi Ann attended a breakout session led by Simone at Lifeway's Women's Forum. For the next four years, Bobi Ann attended every breakout Simone taught at the Forum and became a self-proclaimed "Simone Groupie." Since that time, Simone and Bobi Ann have forged a symbiotic learning relationship. They challenge and enrich each other.
Simone and Bobi Ann cherish every opportunity they have to do ministry together whether writing or speaking at women's events. With a 43 year age gap, they aren't the most likely pair, but Simone and Bobi Ann share a similar passion for ministering to women, leadership development and a deep love and respect for each other.
Fun little fact about Simone and Bobi Ann: Though they didn't meet officially unil 2003, their paths crossed first in 1980. Simone and her husband pastored the church in Longview, Texas that Bobi Ann's parents attended when Bobi Ann was born.
